This Plan is designed to complement our Workforce Plan and to help the Commission build talent from within the organization, maintain institutional knowledge, and identify, assess, and develop employees to ensure leadership continuity at the Executive Leadership Team level. Without a strong succession planning program, organizations are not prepared to fill openings created by retirements or unexpected departures, nor can they meet demands for additional executive leaders resulting from growth.
