Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Team

The Commission’s JEDI team advances initiatives focused on implementing our Environmental Justice Policy and embedding justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion into the Commission’s work. It enables staff to share racial equity actions and information, and engage other agencies on this topic. The team is organized into the following four subcommittees: diversity, inclusion, and hiring; environmental justice policy implementation; outreach and engagement; and an equity matters newsletter. The team meets quarterly to support the implementation of our Environmental Justice Policy and racial equity efforts.
